BECKHOFF

We develop applications in TWINCAT 2 and TWINCAT 3 environment, taking full advantage of the ETHERCAT bus distributed communication system. In this field, we can manage devices of any brand, which can be networked with this technology.

If required by the application, we can integrate the project with the SAFETY program, by using the BECKHOFF security CPU, to be inserted on a I/O island, or using the SAFETY licenses originally present on some devices (for example the series AX8000 drives).

Over time, we have developed proprietary libraries, for the complete MOTION management and the logic axes (either virtual or real), using the native PLC OPEN functions, and integrating them with our applicative KNOW HOW.

We can intervene with the project of a full machine, even managing it on standard OMAC, or supporting our customers with the writing of special functions (for example the notch correction on the printed film unwinding, or the singularization and timing of incoming products), following the agreed interface specifications.

CODESYS

We currently use various SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC programming platforms, both to manage automatic machines and for process control, on distributed plants.

Well known development environments are SOMACHINE, SOMACHINE MOTION, ESME (EcoStruxture Machine Expert), ESCE (EcoStruxture Control Expert), that we integrate, if needed, with the HMI program management in VIJEO DESIGNER and integrated or stand-alone SAFETY part. In case of older applications, we can also intervene on CPU PACDRIVE M, thanks to our long-term experience with EPAS environment.

We can configure complex systems, using the SERCON III field BUS for the synchronous part and eventually for IO TM5 modules, or alternating it with other serial BUS, such as the CAN OPEN, in case of use with inverters.

Regarding the application software aspect in the field of automatic machines, we can work in FULL TEMPLATE mode (using the standard SCHNEIDER library) or use the AXIS MODULE by integrating it in a machine framework chosen by the customer. We can also manage the native SCHNEIDER robotic library, for applications with robots of every kind.

OMRON

As for the development with SIEMENS, leader in the supply of components for industrial automation, we can develop automatic machines and process plants through the new CPU 1200 and 1500, both in the standard and the technological version.

The TIA PORTAL environment, from version 15 onwards, also allow us to manage the eventual security PLC program, integrated on the SIEMENS CPU, thanks to the “F” versions and the PROFISAFE protocol.

In case of necessity, we can support our customers also on older plants and machines, equipped with old series devices such as STEP7, like CPU S7-300 or S7-400, acting with small modifications, and up to complete revamping of the solution, to align it to more recent technologies.

From the application point of view, the TIA is a little bit less suitable for the objects programming; nevertheless, we have developed different MOTION managing solutions, thanks to the knowledge of technological objects, which allow us to work on automatic machines in a transparent mode, compared to environments more suitable for high-level programming. In this regard, the use of axes systems S10 and S210, perfectly integrated in PROFINET, makes SIEMENS solutions highly performants.

Concerning the development of process plants, which are the real core business of SIEMENS, we have optimized the standard functionalities, like for example the PID CONTROL, to make it even more simple to use and more precise for the regulation 

Rockwell Be Motion
ROCKWELL

When our customers have to develop applications for the US market, the request always go to ROCKWELL AUTOMATION systems. 

We are able to develop software for process plants, through CPU CONTROL LOGIX programming, based on the STUDIO 5000 platform, also including, if required, the SAFETY application design, integrated in the system.

Concerning the BUS field, ROCKWELL massively uses the ETHERNET IP protocol, either for the connection of control devices (inverter or drives), and for any input/output station distributed on the installation itself

With reference to the MOTION CONTROL, with the same application we can develop complex systems, to satisfy also the synchronism speed requirements, declined in this system.

SCHNEIDER

B&R

When it necessary to match good performances to competitive prices, more and more customers enter the world of this manufacturer of automation components, partner of ABB.

Their technology is based on multi-axes systems, managed through POWERLINK protocol, and on a programming platform inspired to CoDeSys, named AUTOMATION STUDIO

Their range of products also includes inverters for asynchronous motors, always managed by POWERLINK, operator interfaces integrated in the automation software, and also the complete range related to SAFETY, integrated in the system

For what concerns B&R, our KNOW HOW allows us to propose ourselves for the development of complete machines, or parts of machines, but also for SERVICE interventions on applications, which, maybe, require maintenance or obsolete components replacement.

SIEMENS

We use the main OMRON platforms both to develop lines and process plants, and to manage automatic machines

For these ones, the new SYMAC STUDIO platform, and the new CPU based on the real time bus ETHERCAT, together with the new generation BRUSHLESS and DRIVE motors, guarantee good performances in terms of processing speed, keeping a very competitive cost on the market.

 While concerning the plants, the widespread use of controllers programmable with the CX ONE environment, especially in some specific sectors of the market in Emilia-Romagna, allow us to give our customers full availability for targeted assistance, scheduled maintenance, modifications and revamping of old lines
